4 years, soundly made with pleasing head, good angles to the body, well made through the ribs, loin was very short, moved OK, I would have liked a fraction more length to the body.

A very typical bitch in breed type. Although standing on a larger frame than I would prefer, everything was in proportion demonstrating a sound, balanced picture both standing and on the move. Pleasing bone and feet and an excellent depth of chest. Moved well. BB

Another quality bitch who presented a very typical outlook. Lovely head, clean, correct eye shape and the brightest of expressions. Ok, she is out of coat and a touch overweight, but I really liked her and she deserved her rewards. Super type and size with balance. A lovely one, moving with true foot placement and jaunty action. She has quality in abundance. Res CC.

Sunday 25th March 2018 NSDTR Club of UK Championship Show (CC) - Mr Mick Howes (Medogold)

2nd Open Bitch

Strong and powerful bitch with lots of things to like about her, beautiful head and expression, correct earset, good neck, strong topline, adequate front assembly, excellent body with the correct amount of substance and depth in body, strong hindquarters, lovely bone, she moved with fantastic stride and lovely attitude, just not in the best coat on the day, but I am sure she will trouble the best being in full coat. She honestly deserved my RBB award.

1st Open Bitch

A very sound and honest bitch, dense jacket but coat was on the blow. I liked her in head with correct oval shaped eye, clean cheeks and a neat ear all giving a pleasing expression. Carries plenty of heart and lung room, kept a true outline at all times. My Res Bitch.

Saturday 18th November 2017 NSDTR Club of UK Open Show - Mr Richard Bott (Quensha)

2nd Open Bitch

Presented a smart outline. Very pretty girl but a tad strong all through for my taste. Well made with balanced angles. Good depth to chest and spring of rib. Stood on super feet. Fluid on the move but lost her topline and not quite the drive of the winner, so had to be content with this place.

I have been very impressed by this girl before and nothing today affected that opinion. In super coat and condition, she oozes quality and doesn't disappoint in any department. Ideal shape of skull, correct clean dentition and with biddable expression and eye. Alert attitude throughout, she is always out to please her handler. Well ribbed, and with a strong topline and coupling, she just powers around the ring without the slightest effort. BB & BOB. I was pleased to see her shortlisted for the Group.

Another lovely bitch but overall slightly more of her than the winner, lovely wedge-shaped head and expression, strong neck into well placed shoulders, lovely boned legs and good feet, correct topline, very well angulated behind, sound mover but not quite the profile stride of the winner.

Wednesday 11th October 2017 Gundog Society of Wales - Mrs D Stewart-Ritchie

1st Open Bitch

She has such appeal. Loved her make, shape and type. Of correct size and with correct length to height proportions. Stands on super quality bone and neat tidy feet. Her topline is bang on and her croup and tailset match. Excelllent angulation fore and aft. Deep in chest and ribs carried well back to strong muscular loin. Wide in quarter and good first and second thigh width. I loved everything about her and most especially her glorious head. Her expression is devine. Another from this kennel who really comes together on the move. Reachy side gait and strong out and back. She really pushed the dog hard and if Id been judging with my heart I'd have given her BOB. The dog just edging her by a whisker today. I found her absolutely stunning!

Saturday 7th October 2017 South Wales Kennel Association - Mr Russell Mosedale (Knightsbay)

Group 4 (Judge: Mr Bill Bunce (Adurni))

A breed I think has been so under-rated in the past. In absolutely tip-top condition and so well presented, his temperament and overall attitude to the job in hand was outstanding. With this breed what you see is what you get, and his body shape, balance and hard condition pleased me greatly. He moved out with style, going straight coming and going and with powerful drive from his strong webbed feet. An excellent performance all round.

2nd Open Bitch

Another who was very feminine and has a great outline and of correct build and balance but today was carrying a little too much weight and this showed in her movement although she had reach and side stride rolled in backline and was close behind which lacked real drive albeit was sound. Beautiful and feminine head so well constructed wedge, dark expressive eyes. Super angles front and rear and with enough muscle tone and depth splendid coat presentation of a rich colour. Lovely feathered tail well carried with happy action.
