Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at this well run show, heard it described as a mini champ show at the weekend. It is in a gorgeous location as well. Thank you to all the exhibitors for their entries and support at my first judging appointment. It was a very good entry filled with quality dogs
Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (5 entries)
| 1st | Baker TIVALAKE ON THE TOWN RL1 A 21 month old male presented in very good condition. His coat was a nice red colour with good length and texture. He had a masculine head with nice eye shape and colour, as well as correctly set ears of a good size. He is slightly short in muzzle length. He is a well-balanced throughout, good angulation front and rear. He had a nice easy, free movement showing the good reach and drive needed to work |
| 2nd | Akehurst THALASSA UNDER THE RED SKY AT RIPPLERUSH (IMP NLD) A 19 month old female also presented in lovely working condition with a nice rich coat. A feminine looking bitch whilst still maintaining good substance and moderate bone. Nice wedged shaped head with correctly set ears. Another balanced youngster, slightly long in body, but showing good angulation front and rear. Not as settled on the move as 1st placed dog but in places showed a nice easy movement covering the ground well |

Open Dog or Bitch (6 entries)
| 1st | Edridge CAMUSMOR BRUICHLADDICH AT TILITA SHCM A veteran male at 10� years of age but showing the youngsters that he still has what it takes. A fabulous, thick, dense coat which adds to his quality. His tail did not stop gently waving throughout his time in the ring and he showed the jaunty, playful nature of a toller. Very good front and rear angulation with a nice deep forechest. Overall a very balanced dog with a lovely, free, ground covering movement today. Pleased to award him BOB. |
| 2nd | Baker TIVALAKE COOL YULE A 3� year old male that is developing into a lovely mature male that challenged the 1st place dog. Again an excellent rich red coat presented in lovely condition. Good strong angulation front and rear with good muscle tone, ready to be able to work all day. Good, easy movement just not quite the reach as 1st place dog today |
