A large class of this lovely breed which are always a pleasure to judge, thank you for entering. Just an observation, and I hope you don’t mind, but I felt that whilst the breed should be medium sized, there were a couple of exhibits which were rather small and I would wonder how they would fare as water retrievers. As always, temperaments were superb – I do enjoy judging your lovely breed.
| 1st | Copeland CAMUSMOR BRINGMESUNSHINE TO MENSTONIA Good size and body on this chap, who is soundly and moderately constructed all through. Clean wedged head, and good almond eyes of a pleasing colour. His body is deep and ribs well sprung and he holds histopline well stacked up and on the move. Liked him for balance of front and rear angles, nothing is overdone, and he uses himself to advantage on the move. Good dense coat and presented in first class order, handled well and claimed a good BoB here today. |
| 2nd | Burgess CAMUSMOR KING ROB Really close up to the winner and another of good size and substance with lots of similarities to 1. Very close decision as there was little between them, in the end I just felt that 1 the edge today. |
