Having been interested in Nova Scotias since the first breed seminar in the UK I found the breed difficult to judge today. I was disappointed & concerned to see such a huge variety in type, size, construction, coat & movement. Dogs far outweighed the bitches in my opinion.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (3 entries)

1^st	Bradley CAMUSMOR KNOCKANDO AT RUDDYDUCK P-BEG EX Correct for type, classic head & eye, well made throughout, holds perfect topline & moves true fore & aft showing correct action in profile. In the top three of the breed today.
2^nd	Powley JABY LAVENDER AT DANEHAVEN Good dog, similar remarks apply. Just not quite as good in the topline department.
3^rd	Strevens AQUACADIAN FLIN THE RED AT TOLLISTY

1^st	Moxham SANWANN TOP SECRET Well handled by a youngster, scored for me in head & expression. Sufficient bone, lovely feet, showed good profile action. Needs to strengthen behind to improve rear movement.

Post Graduate Dog (1 entry)

1^st	Clark FLANOVA ERIYADU ISLAND Correct straight front, decent flow of neck into well laid shoulders & holds good firm topline. Needs to sort out his rear action.

Limit Dog (3 entries)

1^st	Powley DANEHAVEN SEVERN Won this class on true action fore & aft & showing reach & drive in profile. Good depth to brisket, correct ribbing producing a firm topline, really showed some drive behind.
2^nd	Clark FLANOVA GLENDRONACH Preferred him for head & expression. Held good profile outline but rear action let him down.
3^rd	Stacey & Copeland AVONWHARFE HALLELUJAH

Open Dog (4 entries)

1^st	Harding & Whitehill TREVARGH THE ENTERTAINER AT BRIZEWOOD Scored in many departments, ultra sound on the move which comes from correct construction & exercise. Balanced head, good shoulders & upper arm, well bodied, in good jacket, outmoved another good one to BD & BOB.
2^nd	Edridge CAMUSMOR BRUICHLADDICH AT TILITA SHCM An old favourite who, although different in type to 1, pushed him all the way. Super animation, totally at one with his handler. Just not as positive & accurate going away & had to settle for RBD.
3^rd	Powley DANEHAVEN DETROIT
Res	Roffey IR SH CH CAMUSMOR I HAD A DREAM WITH ACANUCK

1^st	Powley HOLLYMIST AMAZONITE So very much a baby, lovely tight feet, excellent topline. Once settled moved true showing a lovely temperament & attitude. BP.

1^st	Hanks DANEHAVEN PROSPECT AT LOUISELYN Headed a very difficult class to judge. Different types & varying movement. This bitch was by far the best mover fore & aft, holding her topline too.
2^nd	Powley DANEHAVEN TANGIER Similar remarks apply here. Just not quite as firm in outline on the move.
3^rd	Strevens DECOYMANS PIPER CINDER AT TOLLISTY

2^nd	Strevens DECOYMANS PIPER MAGGIE AT TOLLISTY Just wouldn't get her tail up & paid the price, a pity.
3^rd	Clark FLANOVA TULLIBARDINE

1^st	Moult & Savory DECOYMANS PIPER MAPLE OF CROFTWELL Despite being out of coat this bitch was ultra sound to go over & moved accordingly. In this entry was pleased to award her the BB.
2^nd	Roffey IR SH CH ALLIANCE DE LA VIE DREAMLAND EXPRES WITH ACANUCK (IMP NLD) Has points to offer the breed but just looked so raw & was not quite as true as the Limit bitch.
