This chap was 7 months & very much a baby, also at the growing stage, so a little bum high. Head developing well of correct wedge shape & super dark eye colour. Clean in neck. Good through the shoulders & return of upper arm. A little wide in front but should tighten as he gets older. Ribs developing well, a tad long in loin but plenty of time to balance out. Quarters developing well.

Junior Dog (no entries)

Post Graduate Dog (4 entries, 3 absent)

1stRice TIAMARIA HARVEST GOLD
Stood alone in the class, moved positively with a good action & drive. Head developing nicely with a good eye colour. Shoulders well placed & a good return of upper arm. Good legs but little soft in pasterns. Good through the ribs, well sprung, a shade long in loin. Quarters well developed with well bent stifles, well muscled.

1stStrevens ERIKACHEN CONAIRE AT TOLLISTY JW
Challenging class that was headed by this young man. Only 20 months & lacking a little bit of maturity here but his quality stood out. Classic head piece of correct shape & definition, lovely dark eye. Strong through the neck which led on to a super angulated front, shoulders well set & standing on good legs & neat feet. Good depth to the body, ribs well sprung & loin muscular. Level in topline. Quarters well made & muscled, stifles well bent. One of the best movers of the day, very impressive action in profile & fore & aft. Correct tail carriage on the move. Coat good with correct texture. I really liked this chap & he pushed the veteran winner hard for top honours. I think with a little maturity he could go far. RBD.
2ndParr KYMIN NEPTUNE
Another smart dog who was very impressive on the move with a smart handler who got the most out of him. He just tended to lose his topline on the stack & that cost him a higher place. Well proportioned head with dark eye. Strong through the neck, shoulders well placed with good return of upper arm. Body of good proportioned, ribs well sprung, a tad long in loin. Excellent quarters with a good bend of stifle. Good action on the move.

What a decision to have to make between two top class exhibits but looking on super form.

1stHarding & Whitehill SH CH TREVARGH THE ENTERTAINER AT BRIZEWOOD
It has been a long while since I last judged this chap & was thrilled to get the opportunity again, at 9½ years he looked fabulous & I was not surprised to see he now has his title. Masculine in head with typical shape. Super eye which gave him that classic expression. Strong well muscled neck, leading in to well set shoulders, correct front angulation. Super in the body with good depth to chest & ribs well sprung, strong through the loin. Excellent hindquarters, stifles well bent, hocks well let down. Super tail carriage. Excellent double coat & excellent condition. On the move he had a superb action & footfall, so typical with good rear drive. In the challenge, although he is obviously slowing up a little with age, he just had the finish that the open winner did not so took top spot. Delighted to make him by BD & later BOB.
2ndPowley SH CH DANEHAVEN DETROIT
Slightly older than The Entertainer & clearly out of the same top drawer but today not quite in the coat of the winner. Pleasing masculine head with excellent definition, excellent in neck which was strong leading on to well set shoulders & overall front assembly. Good through the body, chest deep & ribs well sprung. Strong in loin with the correct level topline, as with the winner excellent quarters. Smart on the move with that typical Toller action especially in profile where he had rear drive. Called him back in to challenge the Open winner for RBD & another close decision. Smart dog & grateful to have the opportunity to judge him.

1stKrall & Wingham AMBERTOLLERS DEVOTION
7 months & very much a baby, definitely enjoying her day out. She has a lovely head & expression. Good layback of shoulder but a tad short in upper arm. Standing on good legs & neat feet. Body of good proportion with ribs & loin developing well. Quarters well made with a good bend of stifle. Did enough on the move but still needs a little practice. Delighted to make her BP.
2ndElkin TOLLELKIN WATER DANCER
Another typy puppy but at the growing stage so not as balanced as the winner. She has a good overall shape, would like slightly more layback of shoulder. Good legs & feet. Body developing well with ribs & loin where you would expect them at this age. Did OK on the move, had plenty of enthusiasm, a shade close behind just needs to settle a little.

1stMoult & Savory EUSANIT NAUGHTY BUT NICE FOR CROFTWELL
My find of the day I thought this young lady showed a lot of potential. She just turned 12 months but everything was in the right place & she presented with a classic outline good size & proportions. Beautiful in head, typical wedge shape, correct breadth & eye shape that gave that appealing expression. Strong through the neck leading into well placed shoulder, standing on well boned legs & neat feet. Correct depth of body for her age, ribs springing nicely, strong level topline. Well developed quarters with well bent stifles. Excellent tail carriage. On the move she need to tighten a little in elbow but I think she will improve as she develops. In side gait she was superb & I could see that typical Toller gait, with good drive. I loved her & was delighted to be able to award her BB. I wish her every success I think she will have a bright future ahead of her.

Pleasing bitch, feminine in head & expression, good through neck & shoulder well placed. Good front assembly with the correct layback of shoulder & overall front assembly. Standing on well boned legs & neat feet. Body of good proportions with ribs well sprung. Stifle well bent & good rear angulations. Sound on the move with a good action. Today I just preferred the head & expression of the winner.

1stParr DANEHAVEN PELLY ON KYMIN
Lovely outline when standing she presented a balanced picture. Her head is feminine & with a good shape. Eyes of good colour & shape that gave a pleasing expression. Strong through the neck, leading on to well set shoulders. Good front assembly & angulation. Well sprung ribs & firm in loin. Super quarters with well bent stifles. Moved well in the class with good action & good tail carriage. Moved well in the class but a change of handler in the challenge & she just wasn't quite as together.
2ndPowley DANEHAVEN EFFINGHAM OFF KYMIN
Another good one, very similar to the winner but not quite the head & expression. Strong neck leading on to well placed shoulders. Good front angulation but a little heavy over the shoulders today. Standing on good legs & neat feet. Body of correct proportions. Good quarters, well angulated but not quite the muscle tone of the winner. Moved with purpose & drive, accurate footfall. Just going out of coat today.

1stBrown AM GCH KYMIN IPSO FACTO (RE-IMP)
A very flashy bitch who draws your attention, totally at one with her handler. 7½ years but not showing her age at all. I liked her overall balance & outline. Head pleasing. Strong through the neck which led in to correctly placed shoulders. Good depth of chest, ribs well sprung. Excellent quarters, well muscled & a good bend of stifle. Came alive on the move with a super action so typical of the breed. Good coat condition. Just lost out to the junior winner in the challenge as I preferred her head & expression. RBB.
2ndMoult & Savory SH CH DECOYMANS PIPER MAPLE OF CROFTWELL
Another good one. I found her head pleasing & of good shape with a feminine expression. Good reach of neck, correct layback of shoulder, carrying some weight on her shoulder that made her look a little stuffy. Good overall shape with balanced body proportions. Good spring of rib & firm loin. Quarters well made with well bent stifles. Just not as fluid on the move as the winner.
