I was very pleased to be invited by the Association to judge, as a Breed Specialist, giving me my first opportunity at Championship level. A huge thank you to all the sporting exhibitors for their entries, many travelling long distances to show.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (1 entry)

1^st	Anstead RIVERWATCHER IKKUMA 9 years old and still in good shape with super head and expression. Well balanced overall with good angulation. Very sound on the move from all view-points. Carrying a little bit of extra weight, which didn't detract from her performance today. (RBB) (BV)

Puppy Dog or Bitch (3 entries)

1^st	Anstead RIVERWATCHER KILA Just 6 months and one day, classy looking puppy with profuse coat for his age. Well balanced at this stage with time for maturity to fill him out. Moved well. (BP)
2^nd	Sneddon EDINBARNET GRAMPIAN BLAZE Not quite as substantial and mature looking as 1, despite being one month older. Nicely put together youngster with a good head. Good angulation and moved OK.
3^rd	Stevenson EDINBARNET GLEN ROSA ROSE

Junior Dog or Bitch (1 entry)

Adshead AFONBACH DANCE WITH DRAGONS
Up to size youngster of 14 months with super balanced proportions. Lovely look of intelligence from correct almond-shaped eyes set off by good flat cheeks. Nicely angled and put together. She was slightly skittish on the move but well handled to show her to best effect.

Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (4 entries, 1 absent)

1^st	Thain LORNFORD PINTAIL'N TUX 2½ year old quality dog presented in very lean condition, who pushed the BOB close for top honours today. Good bone and substance, well angled, super profile view and moved well with strong drive. (RBD)
2^nd	Pringle HWYADEN CALYPSO Another two and a half year old carrying a bit of extra weight today. Super medium girl in all respects with nice bone and a level topline, but tendency to stand a bit flat on her feet. Really liked her happy jaunty movement.
3^rd	Adshead AFONBACH DANCE WITH DRAGONS

Open Dog (5 entries, 3 absent)

1^st	Anstead MULTI CH RIVERWATCHER ATKA Top quality six year old dog presented in beautiful coat. Excellent head, correct eye and friendly expression. Well boned and muscled to present a typical outline, although slightly heavy today. Moved with purpose and drive and positively owned the ring. (BD) (BOB)
2^nd	Adshead AFONBACH WINTER IS COMING JW Tall youngster, very correct for type, balance and structure. Lovely head and strong neck leading into super level topline. Superb feet, moved well.

Open Bitch (2 entries)

1^st	Anstead SH CH/INT SH CH RIVERWATCHER PIKPAKTUK JW Four years old with a super typical wedge shaped head as you approach her. Ample bone. Has a lovely balance to her overall structure which translates to quality flowing movement. Well handled today. (BB)
2^nd	Adshead DANEHAVEN VERMILION FOR AFONBACH Smaller all round than 1 but still correct, really well presented for this show. Really liked her head and ear carriage topping off a nicely balanced outline. Moved happily and well, at one with her handler.
