It was a hot day and this did affect some of the exhibits, especially on the move. I’d like to thank the society for moving the later scheduled breeds as rings became available.

Puppy Dog (1 entry)

1stSmyth & Edwards CAMUSMOR MAK SICCAR
Very mature for his age with a profuse coat. Good width of skull to his wedge shaped head. Almond eyes blending with his coat colour and a good ear set. Well constructed with strong neck, well laid back shoulders, return of upper arm and fore chest. Well muscled back with level topline leading into well angulated rear with parallel pasterns. Moved out well dropping his head as he settled into his movement. To nit-pick I would prefer a tad more leg but there is still time for that to come. Best Dog and Best of Breed.

Junior Dog (1 entry)

1stGreenwood COEDHELYG SON SHINE JW
Masculine head with almond eye still to darken. Well set ears. Good neck into well lad back shoulders. A good outline stood but not moving his best in the heat.

Yearling Dog (2 entries)

1stGreenwood COEDHELYG SON SHINE JW
2ndGregory EXETOLLERS WHAT'S THIS
Head still to broaden. Almond shaped correct dark eye for his dark pigment. At the rangy stage, should fill out over the next year as he matures.

Limit Dog (4 entries, 1 absent)

1stBrand COEDHELYG JINGLE ALL THE WAY
Wedge shaped head with almond eyes framed by a good ear set. Well laid back shoulders. Excelled on movement and was one of the few to drop their heads as they moved out today. Reserve Best Dog
2ndTrueman CRETSHENGAN LAKE ITASCA (AI)
Still quite raw and needs to body up. More upright in front and rear than the winner. Moved with his head up affecting his outline.

Open Dog (no entries)

Veteran Dog (1 entry)

1stGreenwood EUSANIT TRICK OR TREAT
A lovely old boy, super expression and full of enthusiasm. Missing a few teeth as is not uncommon with this active breed. Good strong neck into well laid back shoulders with return of upper arm giving him a good fore chest. Balanced outline with well angulated rear. Starting to show his age on the move. Stood alone but well deserving of Best Veteran.

Puppy Bitch (3 entries)

A class of three nice youngsters.

1stAkehurst ORYXES ALLURE OF THE TREES AT RIPPLERUSH (IMP CAN)
She caught my eye as she came into the ring with her rich red coat. Pleasing feminine head with almond eyes and good ear set. Strong neck into well laid back shoulders. Currently a little bum high but only a baby. She won this class on her movement and went on to take Best Bitch.
2ndRoffey CAMUSMOR CA CANNY WITH ACANUCK
A heavier framed girl without the winner's length of leg. Just not as together as the winner today and another not moving as well in the heat - plenty of promise for the future and pleased to award her Reserve Best Bitch.

Junior Bitch (1 entry)

1stWarren AFONBACH DREAMFYRE AT SHORROCKS
3rd in puppy. A delightful puppy with a pleasing head and outline. She settled so much better in this class enabling me to see her lovely movement. Very deserving of this win and her 2nd in Limit.

Yearling Bitch (1 entry)

1stTrickett CFYRE'S HIGH TEA AT TOLLPEPPER JW (IMP CAN)
Stood alone but very deserving of her win. A paler bitch at the orange end of the correct coat spectrum. Pleasing feminine head with almond eyes, colour blending with her coat, and good ear set. Presented in fit condition. Good lay back of shoulder and well muscled rear.

Limit Bitch (5 entries, 1 absent)

1stTrickett CFYRE'S SPELLBREAKER AT TOLLPEPPER (IMP CAN)
Feminine wedge shaped head, eyes a little light. Well set triangular ears. Won this class on maturity and balance but the change of handler and the heat were against her in the challenge.
