1st Open Bitch

Feminine bitch, lovely head and expression, well angulated front and rear, good straight front, moved extremely well, dripping in coat, unfortunately, like me, needs to lose a little weight, but liked her enough to give her Reserve Best of Sex.

Friday 1st June 2012 Southern Counties Canine Association - Mrs Eileen Hughes (Sonnenberg)

2nd Open Bitch

This bitches weight spoilt her shape and outline, yet she moved well despite the extra pounds. Her skeletal structure is correct but her head is a little narrow and her light eyes spoil the expression.

Thursday 10th May 2012 Birmingham National - Mr Martin Widdowson (Corlitgold)

2nd Open Bitch

4 year old bitch with good bone. Deep chest & good coat. Carrying a little too much weight. Moved well.

Sunday 22nd January 2012 Manchester - Mr Richard Morris (Lascoed)

2nd Open Bitch

Pleasing breed type, a substantial, well built five year old, head has improved in breadth and strength since I last judged this bitch, with stop correct if eye rather light. Excellent spring of rib and firm topline, but not best held on times, good depth of body, strong over the loins and well developed hindquarters. Presentation could have been better which held her back from winning today, long lengths of her dead undercoat were showing through, but she impressed by being one of the few in the entry to possess undercoat. It was her sound, speedy and driving movement that again leaves an impression of power and drive, though possibly her gait could be slightly more springy and jaunty. A happy shower with very typical Toller tail carriage.

A clear winner in this class. Pleasing breed type but skull lacking in breadth and strength for me though stop correct if eye rather light. Excellent spring of rib and firm, level topline, good depth of body, strong over the loins and well developed hindquarters. Presentation could have been better, her top coat was blowing but she was one of the few in the entry to possess undercoat. It was her sound, speedy and driving movement that put her worthy of the Best Bitch award. Congratulations.
