Best Veteran

1st Veteran Bitch

My notes say 'very, very, stylish!' She excels in breed type, has a lovely feminine head & expression, although perhaps not using her ears to best advantage today. She is so well put together, is substantial & stylish, holding a very good outline both stood & on the move. It is in profile action that she really comes alive, extending & driving with fluidity around the ring, whilst being totally accurate both ways too. I loved her & had no hesitation awarding her the CC, BOB & BV. I gather that this win means that she has gained her UK title, congratulations!

Sunday 7th August 2016 National Gundog Association (CC) - Mrs Carol Coode (Warringah)

2nd Veteran Bitch

Sunday 10th July 2016 East of England - Mr Anthony Allen (Allenie)

Reserve Best Bitch

1st Veteran Bitch

A very flashy bitch who draws your attention, totally at one with her handler. 7½ years but not showing her age at all. I liked her overall balance & outline. Head pleasing. Strong through the neck which led in to correctly placed shoulders. Good depth of chest, ribs well sprung. Excellent quarters, well muscled & a good bend of stifle. Came alive on the move with a super action so typical of the breed. Good coat condition. Just lost out to the junior winner in the challenge as I preferred her head & expression. RBB.
