Dog I gave Best Veteran to last time out, didn't disgrace himself again today, loved his head and super expression, good neck and shoulders, clean top line and strong rear, would prefer just an inch less of him all over, another who moved well for his age showing lovely reach in front and plenty of drive behind.

An 11 year old male presented and shown in super condition. Showing breed type and virtues that I look for. Correct head slightly wedge shaped, moderate stop, dentition correct, clean and complete. Strong neck seamlessly leading into well placed shoulders. Good width and depth to brisket. Well made hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Moved freely and accurately.

Wow at nearly 11 years old this young man certainly belies his age, he is a lovely example of the breed with type and balance. Correct wedge shaped head and well carried ears, super overall outline with well laid shoulders, level topline and well set on tail. Good depth of chest, well sprung ribs and super rear angulation. Moved effortlessly around the ring with correct head carriage.

Another “proper” veteran at 10.5 years. These boys really show the longevity of the breed. A larger boy scoring in front assembly although slightly over-angulated at the rear. A different head shape to my winner but still with the correct wedge shape. A kindly expression with a rounder eye. In his summer coat but another lovely mover.

Really impressed by this 8 year old dog and was surprised to find he does not carry his title. Produces a lovely balanced outline on the stance and is so well built and on going over him, he did not disappoint. Lovely breed type head, nice skull with high set ears dropping forward with triangle shape. Nice foreface. Good moderate neck into well laid shoulders, firm short back to well set tail just not carried well would like a better carriage. Well sprung ribs well back, body with substance and depth beautiful rich golden coat with white markings, lovely feathering to body and legs which are well boned with tight arched round feet. Very stylish 6.5 year old male another impressive on the stance presenting a good breed type with a super outline and well balanced. Masculine well worked head with clean lines nice stop. In my opinion would like less roundness to eyes good colour, neat triangular ears well furnished, strong moderate neck clean lines to shoulder into firm short back and high set tail well feathered and tipped. Super rich coloured and textured dense coat on a body with good depth well ribbed back with a nice tuck. Needing more front angulation, broad well muscled hindquarters, with good return of stifle and let down hocks. Elbows in on straight strongly boned legs with tight webbed feet. Most appealing for quality & type this 4˝ year old dog was cleanly presented & performed well in the heat. Well marked overall, but lacking tail tip, he possesses a mature head, not overdone, focused & alert expression, kind eyes, well set & full nostrils. Another with excellent bone & tight feet, good length of ribcage & well coupled at the loins with width & strength across & strongly muscled hindquarters.
