Another WOW dog, just loved him. He is a really neat and compact package. From a slightly smaller mould than winner, but he is all male. He shows his playful and confident side when stood, ready for action and raring to go. Masculine head, moderate stop, and lovely almond eye. Chest down to elbow, firm topline, strong hindquarters. Finished off in his stunning rich and dark double coat with a lovely well feathered tail topped with a white tip. In hard muscular condition and moving with good width behind parallel and straight, showing the typical jaunty action - RBD

Good all over proportions, making him moderate and well balanced. Appealing, friendly face. Straight front and correct forechest. In good coat of very dark red in colour. Well held topline and tail carriage. He made a good appeal in the challenge and was rather unlucky to meet the others on such form.

Darker coated dog, perhaps darker than I would normally prefer, but within the breed standard, masculine head and expression, well angulated front and rear, coat was in good condition, moved well.

Even though he stood alone had much to admire. Smaller frame. Well presented in profuse coat. Good head shape with a nice eye and expression. Good front and depth. Muscular neck. Strong well developed quarters. Moved correctly.

What a cracker, he didn't stop showing the whole time he was in the ring. Compact dog of correct size, with wedge shaped head and strong neck leading into well laid back shoulders with good return of upper arm. Balanced profile with good rear angulation. So well muscled and fit – he could certainly work all day! Pleased to award him his first CC.

A deep red dog in very good coat and condition and he certainly makes the most of himself on the move. In the final challenge for top honours he moved at too quick a pace and he tended to lose his topline at times. He is well made throughout with good bone, tight feet and good tail set and usage and has lots to offer the breed. In the challenge I just preferred the head and expression of the main two winners.

I have judged this dog before and on a number of occasions and now reaching his best. He is extremely well balanced in all areas, medium size yet powerful with quality bone and muscle all through. Excellent wedge-shaped head with moderate stop and flat cheeks. Dentition correct, clean and complete. Strong moderate length neck set well onto shoulders and corresponding length of upper arm. Chest of good depth and width. Well ribbed back leading to strong loin and excellent powerful hindquarters. The very best of tight, neat feet with the shortest of nails. Moved with good reach and drive.

One of the strongest Groups this time, certainly the strongest Gundog Group out of the three occasions when I've judged them in the UK. I was spoilt for choice. A very nice problem to have! Great to have such a great representative of the breed here where it is rather new one and still in the procedure to get fully understood. Perfect balance, not too short on his legs but also not squarely built. Strong but more dry quarters than the other retriever breeds. Lovely head, correct neck and shoulders. Head and tail carriage is higher than of the other retriever breeds connected to the special way of their working. Light footed but not high-stepping correct movement. Beautiful rich colour of his coat with excellent white markings present.

Lovely head and expression, ears set well and of good size. Good angulation front and rear, a good spring of rib and muscle tone, another dog fit for purpose. He moved out well, with confidence, showing good reach and drive. This well balanced dog took command of the ring today. I have seen him mature and develop the substance he now carries. Stood out as my Best of Breed, in gleaming coat and personality. BD, BOB and pleased to see him take Group 2.

Another quality dog. Excellent overall balance. Clean head. I would prefer a fractionally darker eye. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Well ribbed with short loin. Very well muscled hindquarters. Good bone and feet. A shade darker in coat but still within the standard. Moved well on a good stride.

Couldn't ignore the quality of this dog today. He demanded my attention from the moment he stepped into the ring. His head and expression screamed out the "typical toller" that I was looking for and the rest of him certainly didn't disappoint. Well placed shoulders and a good front angulation. Chest deep and a moderately sprung rib. Strong bone and good substance throughout. Fantastic rear angulation and well let down hocks. Correct tail set, which was carried confidently in his springy, powerful movement around the ring. Such a pleasure to award him BD, BSW and BIS.

Really close up to 1, attractively marked and deep red in colour. Slightly longer in muzzle than 1 but his head is a wedge shape and is clean cut, with well positioned eyes that are a little light compared to his coat colour but thanks to high set medium triangular ears and good stop, gives a pleasing expression. Clean and strong neck well set on into well placed shoulders, good length of upper arm and chest reaching to brisket, strong forelegs and good substance, very good rear assembly and well muscled, medium bend of stifle and well let down hocks, excellent tail set and carriage with tail covered with plenty of feathering. Really showed his socks off and moved round the ring with springy movement and was pleased to award him Reserve Best Dog.

Smart, typy male of a really rich colour and condition, he looks workmanlike and really fit for purpose. He has good height to length, with a strong topline and useful tail set and action on the move, enhanced by good feathering and white tip to tail. I liked his head and expression, with clean cheeks, good length of neck, decent angles, just can't stand wrong, he has a good underline, best of legs and feet, with decent hindquarters. He was an excellent mover full of energy and positive breed attitude.

Smaller type, younger than first two and less mature. Neat head, would expect eye to darken further to better blend with coat. Bone good for size, stands on straight front legs with neat feet. Would like a little more breadth all through, but this may come with maturity. Correct angulation and moves with a spring in his step.
