Quality dog who is not showing his age, head typical for the breed being clean cut with sight wedge shape being broad and slightly rounded. Nose flesh coloured and well developed, correct colour almond shaped eyes giving the friendly kind expression. Correct, clean dentition, ears clean and well set back on skull with typical feathering at back of fold and slightly erect at base. Correct coat double coat of typical red colour with the lighter hues on underside of tail, in super condition. Forequarters in good muscled condition with well laid, elbows close to body, hind quarters also well muscled with well bent stifles. Good topline, head and back held level on the move. Movement of this dog was very good, I recorded “good reach of foreleg, powerful and has parallel movement front and rear”.

Old favourite of mine who has done well under me on a number of occasions, great to see him as a veteran and that he has kept his shape and outline. Classic head piece of correct shape and definition, lovely dark eye. Strong through the neck which led on to a super angulated front, shoulders well set and standing on good legs and neat feet. Good depth to the body, ribs well sprung and loin muscular. Level in top line. Quarters well-made and muscled, stifles well bent. Very impressive action in profile and fore and aft. Correct tail carriage on the move. Coat good. Took the top spot over a super WSS who I liked very much.

Masculine wedge-shaped head with plenty of breadth over his slightly rounded skull with a tapering muzzle. His neck flows cleanly into a super forehand assembly and ample forechest. Strong topline with correct length of leg and strong loin. His rear angulation is symmetrical to his front with correct croup and tail set. He is true going and coming with such a wonderful side gait, jaunty and with a lowered head carriage, loved him! BOB, congratulations!

Another well sized dog, with happy expression and a good head although slightly sharp in stop. Good angulation in the forehand balanced in the hindquarters. Not quite the depth of chest of 1st, but well sprung rib and solid topline. Strides out on the move but not similarly extended in the rear. Tends to three-track. Tough decision, but a slight imbalance in hindquarter musculature made the difference between first and second.

Eye catching rich red coloured mature dog with white in all the right places. Very good in head, correct ears, good eye. A little more length in neck would compliment his body. Excellent strong, straight topline, deep body with good width in ribs. Well-muscled and in good coat. Really good bend of stifle, well-muscled giving him power on the move which sadly did not balance with his short upper arm causing him to push his elbows out on the move and when coming towards me. beautifully presented and carrying a full rich chestnut coat. Lovely balance on this dog, excellent head and expression, good length of neck fitting seamlessly into his shoulders, level topline with good depth and length of ribbing. Nicely angulated hindquarters, no exaggerations anywhere, coupled with free, easy and foot perfect movement won him the day.

hard to ignore this 3 year old d in rich red jacket, masculine all through and so steady on the move. Strong wedge shaped head with large well set ears though I would prefer a softer expression, tightest of feet, super spring of rib and short back giving good strength to loin, good turn of stifle and well set on tail carried correctly over back waving his large white tip as he went. Super movement in profile and drove out well with a real air of confidence. BOB, Group 1 and BIS. Many congratulations!

Happy Birthday, 3 years old today. What a very smart young dog this is. He really knows how to show himself off with confidence. One who is really nice to go over. When stood portrays the image of an active, intelligent and workmanlike dog who is at one with his handler. Loved his overall balance and construction. He has the desired clean cut skull, nicely tapering muzzle, almond eye shape with alert and keen expression. He has lovely depth all through and complimentary angles both ends. He has a pleasing bend of stifle and width of thigh. Shown in good coat and muscle tone. A pleasure to watch on the move, true and driving, with correct head and tail carriage – BOB shortlisted in group

Undeniably a showman, and with good reason, he certainly catches the eye. Shown in hard condition, another beautiful head with almond eyes and deep expression, framed by larger ears. More open in front angulation and a shorter upper arm than 1, leading into arrow-straight legs on tight feet - testament to his condition. Strong loin but slightly longer and so not as compact as 1. Impressive on the move, though not quite the profile movement today. A close call. RBOB

Splitting hairs between the first two but 1 was in harder condition and in better coat. I can understand why this boy has done so much winning, is really good to go over and fits the standard, his coat was gleaming and is a real showman. Balanced head with good ear set and shape, kind eyes which were medium brown to match his coat colour, all giving the desired expression, correct dentition, good depth of chest, and well ribbed, excellent bend of stifle, strong rear quarters and well let down hocks, he moved well in all directions, toes in a touch coming toward but his footfall is excellent and goes with typical jaunty movement, handled to advantage and overall a lovely package who I’m sure is destined for great things.
