I felt this bitch was in a very inbetween stage in comparison to 1 on the day. Built on slightly taller lines than the winner. I loved her head and expression with the correct skull shape and eye colour. Smooth transition from neck into shoulder but preferred the upper arm of 1. Excellent bone and feet. Needs to deepen through her body to finish. Very sound on the move and carries herself typically at all times.

Clean cut head, kind and intelligent expression, used her ears well, attentive to handler. Well set on neck, balanced angulation, level top line, well sprung ribs. Active mover, well muscled throughout.

I really fell in love with this gorgeous young lady. Just what I thought a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever should look like. Compact, well-muscled, powerful and fit. Wonderful movement, covering the ground with ease. I wish she had not left her coat at home, I suppose it is her age. Such a shame. Well balanced bitch who presents a pleasing outline. Super well-proportioned slightly wedge-shaped feminine head. Almond shaped eyes, blending with her coat colour. Strong well-muscled neck, shoulders well laid back, straight well boned forelegs and excellent feet. Body developing well, ribs well sprung, firm topline which she maintained standing and moving, tail well feathered and carried. Well-muscled hindquarters, stifles well bent and hocks well let down. Shiny coat enhanced with white markings as a blaze, on tip of tail, chest and feet. Very fit for purpose. BEST BITCH, RESERVE BEST OF BREED & BEST OPPOSITE SEX.

Good overall muscle tone and well bent stifles. Moved well, covering the ground with ease. Didn't quite have the coat of the principal winners.

Just out of puppy this female has a clean cut head with tight lips and pale pigment, ears set well back and high on head, clean medium length neck that led into a moderately well laid back shoulder, straight front legs and tight feet all round, chest of moderate depth and spring, short coupled, good bend to stifle and hock well let down, good rear drive at rear and reach in front, tail carried level with back.

Bitch of just 12 mths. from the same kennel as my veteran and although different lines same super quality and condition. Very confident and alert, so attentive to handler, really stretched her frame. Smart clean profile, compact. Pleasing neck, topline, angulations. Medium round tight feet. Slight wedge head, moderate stop with balanced tapering muzzle. Alert almond eyes, well shaped set and used ears. Correct coat, medium length with feathering. Moved soundly with controlled enthusiasm, ground covering stride.

Lovely young bitch, very pleasing wedge shape head, strong but feminine, correct ear placement framing face and soft soulful eyes. Good muzzle and length of neck. Good spring of rib and depth to chest with moderate tuck up and nice length to back. Good substance to body with pleasing length of leg and good tight feet. Tail of good substance with nice flashing at top. Moved with drive and purpose around the ring with lovely focus on handler. Pushed hard for Bob but happy to award BP and RBOB

Really liked this very soundly made well balanced youngster as I found her to be extremely typical and correct all through. Excellent head with well set ear and eye, and useful length of muzzle. Strong neck and topline with great ribbing. Her balance of angulation produced a strong and sound action away and back and she holds her outline so well on the go around. An exciting prospect but I don’t envy the judges who have to write that lengthy name on the big green cards! Good luck for the future, BP & RBoB

6-month-old bitch clean head of correct proportions, and a feminine head with a friendly expression, nicely set ears, ample length to neck leading into well laid back shoulders, she is balanced for her age, with a good amount of depth and width to chest. Standing on straight forelegs and with a good bend to stifle, she moved out well with good reach and drive with the gentle spring required for the breed. BP and PG4.

This bitch pup is just 6 mths and of course, very much a baby, however I thought she showed much promise. She pleased for type and is nicely balanced; moderate length of neck, short back. Topline just a tad soft right now, rib developing well, firm loin and tail of good carriage. Most attractive head and expression with almond-shaped eyes, ears set high and scissor bite. She stands well naturally on very good feet and moved well on the go around. Best Puppy.
