First of all I would like to thank the Gundog Society of Wales Committee for offering this judging appointment to me, I really enjoyed my day. Whilst the general quality of the breed has improved, especially the dogs demonstrating great type, I felt that the bitches on the day still lack that overall quality, some being better than others, and room for improvement.
Junior Dog (1 entry)
| 1st | Waugh DINASKARREK'S RED PRANCER 14 month old male, good headshape, and good ears, with kind expression, nice reach of neck into good lay of shoulder. Overall length excellent, nice profile, needs to mature. |
Post Graduate Dog (2 entries)
| 1st | Rogers EUSANIT TAKE IT EASY Good overall profile, excellent headsize for male, and excellent ear placement, very good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Level topline, and well angulated hindquarters, excellent tailset, coat in excellent condition and carrying nice weight. Moved well with reach and drive, handled well. |
| 2nd | Mortimore JABY PINUS Pleasing male, good size and overall profile, head not as strong as 1, but moved with reach and drive, good coat. Good sized feet and bone. |

| 1st | Harding & Whitehill TREVARGH THE ENTERTAINER AT BRIZEWOOD Good head with kind expression, ears correctly set and nice sized, excellent reach of neck onto well laid muscular shoulders. Strong pasterns, good overall profile and nice length of body, level topline, nicely proportioned hindquarters, good tailset, coat in tip top condition, groomed to perfection. Moved with reach and drive, and certainly enjoyed the big ring, taking full advantage to show how it's done. BD & BOB. |

Longer in body to 1, level topline, with good strong hindquarters. Tail well feathered and in full coat in excellent condition. Full of puppy behaviour, moved well. |
