Junior Dog (2 entries)
1st | Johnson STELLENBOSCH ALAMEDA (AI) Just six and a half month old puppy who needed time to settle in the ring. Head of good proportions without being overdone and nicely tapering to muzzle, good deep chest and correctly angled shoulders; well sprung ribs, short in back and well muscled through hindquarters. When settled a strong rear drive could be clearly seen as he moved around the ring. Best Puppy in Breed in agreement with the bitch judge Mr R Mosedale and RBD. |
2nd | Ravetta WAKADUZE WATAWICASTA Pleasing head and expression, good straight bone in forelegs though slightly longer through the loin than first place, correctly set on tail and well muscled hindquarters. Didn't move as uniform as my first place. |

1st | Anstead MULTI CH RIVERWATCHER ATKA Well developed male in excellent coat and good hard show condition, correct head proportions and depth of chest, well muscled with good strong driving action from well let down hocks, good thickly padded feet and tail carried alertly over the back, gave the finishing touches to this impressive toller who filled my eye as a good breed type. Just losing out to for B.O.B to the Best Bitch in agreement with my co judge Mr Mosedale who went on to be placed Gundog group 4. |
2nd | Wakely RIVERWATCHER NUKILIK A dog I have admired from the ringside for some time and hands on certainly didn't disappoint. Again pleasing head proportions, strong shoulders, deep through brisket, well muscled, strong second thigh, correct tailset. Carried his head level with his back as he moved around the ring; didn't have the animation on the move as my first place. |

4 | Anstead SH CH RIVERWATCHER PIKPAKTUK JW A breed I think has been so under-rated in the past. In absolutely tip-top condition and so well presented, his temperament and overall attitude to the job in hand was outstanding. With this breed what you see is what you get, and his body shape, balance and hard condition pleased me greatly. He moved out with style, going straight coming and going and with powerful drive from his strong webbed feet. An excellent performance all round. |
