1stStrevens TOLLISTY YOU CAN'T DECLINE
Stood alone but what a promising puppy, rich in colour, plenty of coat and furnishings and with plenty of bone and substance to grow in to. Very nice head with good length of muzzle and good width between the ears, ample forechest, shoulders well laid back, good length of back and sloping croup into a strong tail set on correctly and carried at a nice wave on the move. I like puppies to carry a touch extra weight but I wouldn't have any more on him as it can sometimes give him a saggy topline.

1stNevers TOLLELKIN DREAM COVE AT SHELDRAKE JW
A very promising young Toller of excellent type and substance, of the correct proportions, with moderate bone and presented in a correct straight double coat. He is pleasing in head with clean-cut skull, slightly tapering muzzle and tight lips, showing an alert and friendly expression, clean medium length neck with firm topline and strong loins, stifles are well bent and with a good turn of hock, long tail reaching to hock and carried in a very pleasing high carriage on the move, loved how he showed lots of character on the day, with his nose in the air, showing off - sometimes a little naughty but reckon he's a fabulous prospect for future top honours.
2ndFielder CRETSHENGAN TORRAN LOCH JW (AI)
Attractive male with very pleasing white markings, very nice coat which lies flat and in condition, moderate bone and balanced head and masculine head without coarseness, his eyes are so kind, almost as if they are looking into your soul! He's a little long in body for me but he holds a good topline in the stand and on the move, he has a good layback of shoulder and a deep chest with good ribbing, good strong rear with a tail set on well and carried high. Moves positively in all directions.

Disappointing class, many lacked substance and condition.

1stSim STELLENBOSCH KRILENCU
Won this class for excellent powerful side gait and accurate movement going away and coming towards, he also showed plenty of Toller attitude, on his toes and wanting to please so I was able to see good expression, triangular shaped ears carried forward, moderate stop, attractive thin white blaze, good length of muzzle which tapered, kind eye, almond in shape, lips could be tighter, plenty of neck which flowed into well laid back shoulders and a decent return of upper arm, compact body, good ribbing, well muscled rear, could do with a more turn of hock, tail of good length and carried high. Presented in very nice jacket.
2ndElkin TOLLELKIN DREAM HARBOUR
Much younger male whose head needs to break, but has attractive white markings, very well furnished and another who was playful and keen to work for his handler. When he collected himself together, he had a good profile shape and held himself well on the move in all directions, moderate bone, excellent tight and compact feet and good width of front. This one needs time.

This was a really nice class.

1stElkin TOLLELKIN CAIFE AMERICANO SGWC
I've admired this dog from a puppy and he is as good to go over as he looks. Showing strength all through with a masculine head and in hard condition. Typical wedge-shaped head with good width of skull, almond shaped eyes, strong muzzle, tight fitting lips, flat cheeks, ears moderately set apart and triangular in shape, clean in neck and of excellent length leading into laid back shoulders and good return of upper arm, straight forelegs and good width, tight elbows, chest reaching to brisket, good ribbing, strong loin, ample turn of stifle with good turn of hock and strong rear pasterns. He shows good reach and drive on the move and is accurate to and fro with his tail carried high. His handler really shows him off well and was delighted to award him BD and BOB. Think the best is yet to come.
2ndAdshead AFONBACH WINTER IS COMING JW
Very close up to 1 and another I've really liked the look of from ringside, he's really developed into a high quality male of excellent type and substance who will always catch a judge's eye, slightly shorter coupled than 1 but another with a fabulous Toller head, with strength and depth and alert expression, always using his ears to help him listen to his handler's commands. Strong bone, very good front assembly and strong rear holding a firm strong topline in the stand and when on the move, his movement is powerful and accurate and shows himself off with attitude. I see he is the sire of the BPB and BPD and has passed many excellent qualities on. Another who I think will be at his best in a year or so.

Special Beginner Dog or Bitch (9 entries, 1 absent)

A difficult class to judge as ages ranged from 8 months to 5 years so all in different stages of development.

1stPhelps REDFOXTOR BLYSTRA BAY
Pretty and petite girl who could be mistaken for a puppy, but lively mover, very nicely presented with compact body, straight forelegs, good width to front and chest reaching brisket, well ribbed, firm topline, can sometimes stand a little sickle-hocked, long and strong tail carried in a pleasing position.
2ndLashly TOLLISTY BLOW YOUR MIND AT CITANABEL
A real baby who appears rather long in body at the moment, hopefully her legs will catch up soon, but of nice type and plenty of bone and substance, another with a very pretty and pleasing head with nice size ears of good shape and set on well, keen expression, covering plenty of ground with each step and will definitely like to see her out of the puppy stage, shows a lot of promise.

1stSmith TOLLISTY COULDN'T CARELESS
Litter sister to BPD and another very chunky baby of nice proportions, again would like a little more leg but perhaps that's yet to develop, nice proportions of head, with well placed ears which were always carried forward, like her brother, she also had ample forechest, good ribbing although carrying too much weight for me, firm back, sloping croup into a long tail, on the move, she had good front and rear action. A promising baby for sure.

These two are going through that gangly phase and lacking coat but two very good bitches.

1stElkin TOLLELKIN DREAM DANCER
Excellent proportions on this one, with a nice length of leg, compact body and strong rear, not the straightest of fronts but decent lay back of shoulder, good length of upper arm, well ribbed, strong loin and decent bend of stifle and turn of hock, tail set just off the sloping croup and carried high. Needs much more time to mature but has a lot of promise.
2ndJohnson TARNLAIKERS PIKACHU
This one carries a very pleasing head, super markings in all the ideal places, very good straight topline, straight front with good width and moderate bone, plenty of neck, well laid shoulders, chest reaching to brisket, good rear angulation. She moved very well in all directions. Another I'd like to see in a year or two.

Post Graduate Bitch (10 entries)

1stDavies ARELECHEN MOTHER MERCURY
The best mover and made the most pleasing outline in the stand in this class, one of the few on the day who moved accurately in all directions, very showy girl who was medium in size, compact and balanced. Her ears are a little too rounded but she has a keen and alert expression, strong foreface and good breath. I see by her breeding that I did her Dam well and she's passed on many of the same qualities.
2ndAdshead AFONBACH DANCE WITH DRAGONS JW
A quality and balanced bitch but I'd just like her a bit smaller all over. She has fabulous movement, really eye catching and with excellent action, she feels really nice to go over too, perhaps not using her ears as well as some, she tends to tuck them by the side of her head rather than forward but well balanced and clean cut with tapering muzzle.

This was a fabulous class with many good bitches going cardless.

1stWestwood EUSANIT EVER FALLEN IN LOVE
A complete new one to me and what a nice bitch she is. She caught my eye after the first go around with her lively jaunty action and was in excellent coat and condition. Of medium size, compact and balanced, topped with a feminine head with the typical wedge shape, good breadth of skull, ears placed high and a nice size and shape to suit her alert and friendly expression, strong front assembly, excellent depth of chest, good spring of rib, moderate bend of stifle and hocks well bent, she stood so easily four square and straight in every free-stand. Love her high tail carriage on the move and she even swayed her tail in the stand which is nice to say, as so many don't. She was everything I was looking for in a Toller bitch on the day.
2ndSmith TIVALAKE ANYTHING GOES AT TOLLISTY JW
I've watched this one from a youngster and always wished she was mine, love her type, so compact, strongly built but retains femininity. She hasn't got the flashy markings of 1 but she's so well made and put together, the sweetest of heads, so alert and with triangular shaped ears framing a balanced head and almond-shaped eyes. Her coat is thick and abundant, especially in her breeches which can sometimes distract you but don't be fooled, she's a powerful mover, covering the ground easily with each step, the picture is complete with a tail fully furnished and carried high. She had to settle for 2nd today as she was covering a little bit too much weight over the ribs for me. I see she is the dam of the BPD and BPB.
